Cavani set for fourth World Cup

Edinson Cavani is about to begin his fourth World Cup with the Uruguayan national team, in what is a milestone for his country.
Cavani played with Uruguay at the World Cups in South Africa, Brazil, Russia and Russia, and is part of the squad for the 2022 competition in Qatar.
The Valencia CF player joins this select club along with four other members of the Uruguayan national team: Diego Godín, Fernando Muslera, Luis Suárez and Martín Cáceres.
No other Uruguayan had achieved such a feat since Pedro Rocha participated in the 1962, 1966, 1970 and 1974 World Cups.
To mark the occasion, teammate Fede Valverde presented Cavani with a commemorative painting.
Uruguay will kick off their 2022 World Cup on November 24th, against South Korea. Their second game will be against Portugal on November 28th, while they will close the group stage on December 2nd against Ghana.
